"Hala Bol"  ----  Name Says It All

The name says all…. Ain't that? "Halla Bol". Well it's only for those who are familiar with Hindi or Urdu language, not for viewers from around the globe. Though Indian movie lovers are found everywhere! Expectations are for the most part focused on hearing some theme tracks together with situational numbers that appear as a part of the film's background make. Obviously, one can't suppose romantic songs or item numbers in this Rajkumar Santoshi community making that boasts of a remarkable family of actors like Ajay Devgan, Pankaj Kapoor and Vidya Balan. With Sukhwinder Singh at the wheel of opus together with Sameer and Late Shri Dushyant Kumar handling the script department, one hopes for a theatrical soundtrack.

As anticipated 'Jab Tak Hai Dum', the opening track of the film sounds a sacred song. Sukhwinder Singh himself appears in the wake of the mike for this track which too has chorus singers making their existence all through the six minute duration. A number about folks joining together and bringing around an upheaval in the most unpleasant state of affairs, 'Jab Tak' is fabulous on orchestra and should sound all through the narrative to boost the theatrical appeal of the film. This is why it is not actually unanticipated to hit upon the 'Theme Music' depending on 'Jab Tak Hai Dum' to come at the very end of the album.

Halla Bol isn't the sort of album that makes a gets water on the music sets either on their debut or even after the debut of the film. At maximum, the soundtrack would work for the movie as the pictures give details in the story but that's about it. In one line, A decorous anthology of songs for the circumstances.

A serial killer is running wild and the finger of doubt names for a sparkling, soft girl. The whole ambiguity could be cracked if the rob looking into the case could hit upon a missing Sunday.

Director Rohit Shetty's film 'Sunday' is a funny side of life with an excellent dose of trepidation thrown in. The movie stars Ajay Devgan, Ayesha Takia, Arshad Warsi, Irrfan Khan and Anjana Sukhani.

Character Sketches

Ayesha Takia as Seher
She can reproduce a thousand diversified cartoon characters and that's what makes her such a sought after dubbing performer. Then she discovers herself 'wanted' in an unusual sense all told - by criminals, by taxi drivers and by the cops - as a killer suspect.

Ajay Devgan as ACP Rajvir Randhava
He is the heroic, ghastly cop, who likes his ice cream cones as much as he likes running after criminals. But what he loves mainly is letting them off for a heavy bribe! Then unexpectedly Rajvir finds himself involved in a murder anonymity where the major suspect is none other that his fiancée - Seher!

Arshad Warsi as Ballu
His crimson Ambassador cab is just like him - brilliant, cheerful and full of beans. He has no irritation for stuffing too many tourists into his cab or providing lift to an eccentric, embarrassing girl in the middle of the night. What does bothers him is when the girl departs without paying him his taxi charge.

Irrfan Khan as Kumar
Kumar is Ballu's bum buddy and promising actor. He can play legal representative, Ravan, Dracula, pull on the drop of a hat. But when he gets together a girl who declares she's a deceased woman, he drops all his proceeding and scoots with anguish.
